What this app can see

Your examination never leaves this device. The items you select and the dates you record are written only to this browser’s storage. They are not sent anywhere, and no one else — including us — can read them.

There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party code of any kind in this app.

One thing does use the network, and we would rather be exact about it: the app has to be downloaded before it can run. Like any website, the web server that sends you these files records an ordinary access log — your IP address and the time you visited. That log says only that someone opened the app. It contains nothing whatsoever about your examination or your confession.

If you would rather it touch the network not at all, add the app to your Home Screen. After that it runs entirely offline — you can turn on Airplane Mode and it will work exactly the same.

A PIN encrypts what you have saved. If you forget it there is no way to recover what was stored — the only way back in is to erase it and start over.
